Still AWOL After All These Years

Our esteemed colleagues at Corrente, the Blog of Six (now 50% larger!!) link to Paul Lukasiak of the AWOL Project, who is now prepared to state quite straightforwardly that:
[T]he records released by the White House contained more than a “smoking gun”. They contained a whole arsenal of documents that, if you know the context in which they were written, establish beyond a shadow of a doubt that "Bush was AWOL."
The website Blue Lemur has just published an interview with Lawrence Korb, Assistant Secretary of Defense under Reagan, who concurs with Lukasiak's analysis.

If you'd like to see this story get more coverage in the mainstream press, Lambert and co. suggest that you send a polite e-mail to Dan Froomkin of the Washington Post, one journalist who just might be willing to oblige you.
