The Patient Twitches

The eminent Murray Waas of Whatever Already! (which, if you read our posts in order of publication, you should have visited mere moments ago) reports that Reps. John Conyers (D-OH) and Louise Slaughter (D-NY), the ranking Democrats on the House Judiciary and the House Rules Committees, respectively, have formally requested that Lewis "Scooter" Libby offer a specific waiver of confidentiality to jailed NYT reporter Judith Miller. The letter drily notes that Mr. Libby's "conduct may have fallen short of the President's pledge to full cooperation" with the grand jury investigation of special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald.
