Hell Is Other People

A tidbit our tireless colleagues at Raw Story discovered in the WSJ's "Washington Wire" blog:
Karen Hughes, public diplomacy chief of the State Department, was surrounded in an airport bar by [dozens of] Lebanese-Americans who had been evacuated from Lebanon.

Despite traveling 5 days, members of the group could not stay in a hotel because of a disagreement with the State Department over who would bear the lodging costs.
Elliot Abrams was also in Ms. Hughes's party, which had made a refueling stop at Ireland's Shannon airport en route to Lebanon.

What we'd like to know is: who popped for the Mojitos?
