Batting .200!

Brit Hume of Fox: "We have some good news and some bad news. First, the good news . . . "
(Screen grab from Boing Boing, where you will also find a communique from Bubba "Big Buck" Williams, a gentlemen purporting to be Mr. Libby's future cellmate. Thanks to Zemblan patriot J.D. for the link.)

UPDATE (from Think Progress): Following Libby's conviction on four counts of perjury and obstrtuction of justice, former ambassador Joseph Wilson calls on Bush and Cheney to release the transcripts of their conversations with Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, and to offer "a much broader explanation of their own actions" in outing Valerie Plame:
Wilson said he hoped the verdict would teach Libby and other U.S. officials a lesson, that “you don’t abuse the public trust engaging in personal vendettas.” But he said he feared that “they will learn the lesson that several of them apparently learned after Watergate — not the lesson of not abusing power, but rather the lesson…that they should’ve destroyed the tapes.”
UPDATE II: Jeffrey Toobin of CNN discusses the possiblity that Libby, who faces up to 25 years in prison and a cool million in fines, might receive a pardon from his unindicted co-conspirator.
